All Fifty Club at the Fair

I've met over 300 "Fifty-Staters" in the past week! Today's newsletter is a bit more personal, as I'm reporting on my experiences that ended yesterday (July 1st). Some of the All Fifty Club members, along with Alicia, our president, attended the Great American State Fair on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. I wasn't even aware that this event had become "political." I'm not going to get into that, as you can read about it yourself. As above, over 300 people who visited our presence through yesterday identified themselves as having completed visits to all 50 US states. It was a fun time for our visitors and for us. We have many new members who would like more info about visiting states. Our booth included a place to accept the challenge of visiting all 50. It's impossible to count all the signatures on the board. While at the fair, most of us were able to visit the locations celebrating all 50 states, as well as many other government agencies and a few companies. I visited nearly every state pavilion, especially the National Park Service within the Department of the Interior. Visiting National Parks is another activity many Fifty-Staters take up during or after completing all Fifty! If you want more information on visiting all 50, check out the All Fifty Club website.
