Two more states are in the books! I started the day in Salem, Massachusetts, then headed north. New Hampshire became state #41 and Maine became #42 on my third journey through all 50 states. Only eight remain! But the state count was only part of today's story. I walked through a desert in Maine, checked another scavenger-hunt challenge off the list, did a little shopping, and found another connection to FDR.
